How will you modify your instruction as needed to ensure that all students meet learning outcomes?
I will question students for understanding during the ppt presentation. I will do this by asking verbal questions as well as asking students to physically demonstrate (at walking speed) situations and scenarios that will arise in game play.

How will you follow up this lesson with homework or other extension activities?
These rules will be consistent throughout our unit of badminton. Students will need to know how to operate within the guidelines in order to participate in our mini tournament that will take place during the final week of the unit.

-During the skills assessment if “S1” is struggling to hit good set up shots to “S2” I will give the option for S1 to throw instead of hitting underhand.

Each lesson builds upon the previous. All of the shots covered in the lesson are necessary for participation in the remainder of the lesson. The following lesson will cover the boundries for the double’s court as well as introduce doubles rules including service, scoring and rotation.
